Vintage: 2000
Type: Champagne
Country: France – Champagne

This is a special bottle of wine. Smooth and round with citrus notes and toasty vanilla. Lots of bubbles and acidity, so it will still last some more though it is drinking very well at the moment. The wine is the essence of great vintage champagne. If you can find a bottle buy it for a special occasion!

Vintage: 1998
Type: Champagne
Country: France – Champagne

This Champagne is clean and fresh on the nose with hints of citrus fruit and loads of autolytic notes. On the palate there are loads of yummy flavours of biscuity yeast and citrus. Smooth and elegant, this wine is maturing nicely and has lots of life in it still.

Vintage: Non vintage
Type: Champagne
Country: France

A new bottle label, but the same great flavour inside! Whilst I’m not a huge fan of the new label, the wine here is as impressive as ever. Lots of small tight bubbles, flavours of citrus and a hint of yeast. Overall one of my favourite everyday drinking champagne (which is good because I have a few cases of the stuff!)

Vintage: Non vintage
Type: Champagne

We tried this champagne at a friends house and boy did it not disappoint! A deep yellow colour, atypical for champagne. In fact this was more of a wine that was carbonated rather than champagne. Great citrus flavours and minerality and nice acidity. Bubbles were smooth and creamy. Recommended.

Vintage: 2004
Type: Champagne
Country: France – Epernay

We had this champagne one evening to celebrate a special occasion. Boy were we not disappointed. This champagne has great citrus tones, a slightly malty vintage flavour and smooth uniform bubbles. Certainly worth giving a try and I recommend it, if you can find it outside of France!

Vintage: 2003
Type: Champagne
Country: France – Pierry

This was part of the spectacular wine selection we had on Christmas. This, in my opinion, is one of the top houses in Champagne and this is one of their top bottles. Vintage Champagne tends to have a stronger flavour to it and isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. If you do enjoy vintage champagne, you’ll love this one. It is very crisp and dry with excellent flavours and lots of bubbles.
