We had this wine in Vancouver with some lamb at Athene’s Greek Restaurant (Kitsilano). I found it quite enjoyable with a good colour and excellent flavour. A full bodied wine that is very good with lamb!

We had this wine to start a meal at the Summerhill Winery. I’m generally not a fan of sparking wine, especially the blush variety, but this stuff was quite good. Great for a celebration on a hot summer day. It is a bit hard to find outside of Canada though.

I have ordered this wine twice at the Fire Stables in Wimbledon and have not been disappointed. Full of oakey goodness, full bodied and an amazing aroma. Buy it you can find it!

This is a gold medal winner at the Gran Seleccion 2007 Castilla la Mancha 2007, Spain. It does not disappoint. Nice and fruity with a great flavour and bouquet.

An organic sake from Japan. I don’t actually know much about sake, but I drank this warm. The aroma was a bit earthy and it tasted a bit different from my usual brand, but overall it was pretty good.

Another good wine from South Africa. The colour was very dark, and the wine itself was quite fruity with a hint of oak. Big and bold and good.
